Question about Hellsing. Anyone there old enough to watch it

Maybe some spoilers? Dunno anyway turn away just in case:

When Integra is locked up at the end, is it because News/Media/etc blamed her for the attack on the queen and for public reasons they locked her up? And B: Was Alucard really supposed to be Dracula? When he put Incognito through a spike it was exactly like what Vlad Tepes used to do. That and he had a mustashe appear for .5 seconds when lightning was flashing. And finally: Is there a movie? I swore i thought i heard something about one...

First question.

Integra was arrested because of the accusation of being a traitor. Because of the attack in the Tower of London, while the British Flag is raised. Eventhough their targets are Vampire Freaks.

Second question.

Alucard is just an ordinary Vampire which was used for an experiment by the Hellsing organization. You know the story of Dracula, Integra was the successor of Dr. Abraham Van Helsing whom captured and slain the Legendary Dracula. So the experiment on Alucard gave him the Dracula-like powers. I believe they put Dracula's blood or something in side him onto Alucard.

Last question.

In fact no. There is a real movie... But it is not about Alucard or any characters in the Hellsing Anime. It's about Integra's predecessor Dr. Abraham Van Helsing. The Movie title is "Van Helsing".

The film will be showing on May 07, 2004.

Fuckin' long time to wait for a great movie!

But you can already see some Sites that shows infos about this movie.

There is a movie but it is about Van Helsing, the man who slayed Dracula in Brom Stockers novel. The movie has nothing to do with Hellsing the anime. The movie will be cool but has nothing to do with Alucard, only Van Helsing. Official Site
