Julia from Cowboy Bebop is a syndicate whore. she boned both Spike and Vicious. yet Spike has the nerve to stay with her. if i were Spike i would of went with Faye or Electra. im kinda glad she got capped. oh yeah she also cause Spike's death. if she didnt die Spike wouldnt of died. who agrees??

I most definitely DO NOT agree. My memory of the episode where she sleeps with Vicious is a bit hazy at best, but I believe Spike and Julia were unofficially separated for the better part of the series, and unless I'm wrong in saying that or it was in an episode where they were not separated, then she can sleep with whomever she pleases, assuming she even wanted to in the first place (again, my memory of this episode is lacking). And no, she did not cause Spike's death. Spike caused Spike's death. Julia's death took away Spike's reason to not be reckless, but did not cause his death. You say that as if she had a choice in the matter of dying, too.

I used to think Spike should have gone with Fey, but then I actually saw Julia in the series and shes a much better match for Spike.

I also disagree with ya. If she didn't die then Spike would have had more of a reason to live but personally I bet he tried his damnest to survive anyway.. I mean who wouldn't.

Julia was an intergral part of the storyline in Bebop if you took her out and replaced it with a Spike/Faye romance then the anime would just well... suck.

I've always veiwed Bebop as a tragedy and I couldn't see the series working any other way.

I actually don't think Spike tried to survive. I think he tried to survive long enough to kill Vicious, but with the way he was acting after she died I don't think he had any reason not to collapse on those stairs..

He may have not cared if he died anymore but I still don't think he went out of his way to try and get killed. I mean if he had managed to kill Vicious without sustaining major injuries and could have continued living I think he would have. But it's more poignant for him to die after avenging his dead love.

And? As I've said twice before I don't know the circumstances of it, but you and bebop both sound like you're under the impression that if a girl sleeps with one guy, she can never ever EVER under any circumstances sleep with another, even if her and the first guy seperate. Humans don't mate for life. At least usually not right away.

If Julia did something such as sleeping with Vicious ten point five three seven seconds after first professing her love for Spike, someone please tell me. Otherwise, whats the problem?

As a side note, I highly despise the use of words such as whore, slut, etc..Most guys, upon feeling the need to get some, can get some, and if successful in geting some, few people will think twice about it. Most girls, upon feeling the need to get some, can't. Simply because if they do they will be labeled with such words as these.
