Has anyone else seen this anime here? It just came out in Japan. The 12th ep just aired tonight. I was wondering if anyone knew how many eps were going to be in this series, considering that it stopped following the manga completely.

Did this series go back to being cool ala the first 5 minutes of episode 1? Or did it continue to run in the vein of "this anime want me to hate it" ala the remaining 20 minutes of episode 1?

Well I must say that some of the animation is breathtaking. Several times I said "Damm that looks good!"

The supernatural thief with wings is a bit hard to swallow but I liked the rest of it. I like the characters and the storyline. I will enjoy this series I think.

same here, but my thoughts after episode 5 were generally "damn that looks good, but god DAMN what a horriblly boring plot." Although the one where Uizu falls in love with a rabbit was cute. Ep 4 where Daisuke and Hiwatari get locked in a freezer is still my favorite.

If you want plot you're probably better off reading the manga. There's also more of an emphasis on the relationship between Daisuke/Dark and the Harada sisters. So far, the anime series looks alright, but its pretty much filler eye-candy compared to the manga. As far as length is concerned, my guess would be that it would probably run the standard 26 episodes.

yer, i got the first 5 eps... I've seen better animation before so it falls down to the plot and....
I want to keep watching it but I feel it's not going anywhere..

I don't want to have kids.
