Ive seen a bunch of dvd quality kenshins, so i am going by the assumption that many people own the series.
My question is which one has the dubs that are used on CN. Im not a big fan of there editing but i like the voices hehe, if anyone can help it would be much apreciated. TY

If I were you I would only get up to the end of the Kyoto saga. Everything after that are just filler episodes. Buy.com has them for around $23 a piece. But like I said, I would only go up to "Fire Reqiuem"

www.deepdiscountdvd.com has the dvds for $18 bucks each, with free shipping. Best deal you're gunna find, unless you can manage to find them used from somewhere.

Yup like MAS says, go only up to Fire Requiem and the end of the Kyoto Arc. The rest is NOT part of the real story (manga)MAS PRODUCTIONS wrote:If I were you I would only get up to the end of the Kyoto saga. Everything after that are just filler episodes. As for the DVDs, they ARE bootlegs and wont' have any dubbing period (since they're from HK). Hell, you'll be lucky if you get a good subtitled translation at all.
Oh and...have you NOT heard the subtitled version or do you just watch anime dubbed period (i.e you've mainly seen Cartoon Network stuff)? Because...IMO (keyword here) the sub is FAR superior in voice acting and in conveying the characters. I think the dub is attrocious (even among dubs).
And like Zarxrax says, go to DeepDiscountDVD, they are usually the cheapest.

I totaly agree with you. I watched all of trigun subbed and loved it, when i bought the dvds and watched the dubbed, i was very dissapointed. I have only been watching RK on cartoon netowork because its the only available source to me at the time, that is why im looking to buy the dvds. Which brought me to the question on the dubs. I have 2 reasons, one is the point if its a fan dubbed one i know its not the real thing, and 2 i was looking for the dubs used on cn because i knew they were the real thing. But yes I myself will be watching the anime in full fledged subbeddwchang wrote:Yup like MAS says, go only up to Fire Requiem and the end of the Kyoto Arc. Oh and also TY for the recomidation on where to end the series. Any add ons to the original manga tend to be lame.
