Wow...I feel like I would never be thinking this but....

Ok I have now started for college saving you know....And I wonder since I dont know how much everything will cost I dont know if I should cut my weekly anime plan or not...I usually get 2-4 Dvd's a week...but now I wonder should I cut it down to just one. Another thing is I see the Full Metal Panic Boxset and I say it has Vol 1 and a T-shirt (and the box for all the dvd's) Now I wonder this...Do I really need that box you know? I mean do I need a shirt that I cant Fit? I mean the Box is 40 bucks...and the single dvd is 20...do I really need to waste that cash on something like a box set?

Haha...I happen to actually like it and I wanna see it in my prefered format which is in dub but...I still wanna know do you think it's a good Idea to cut my anime plan down so I can save up for Misc college stuff?

Unless you have scholarships, assistanceships, a college fund, and/or a job, you shouldn't be spending money on anime if you plan on going to college and actually "enjoying" life.

Of course...living in poverty and not being able to afford to buy food or do laundry is fine for some college folk.

Learn to manage your money and you can buy all you want and still save, You don't have to buy the anime when it first comes out, you can wait and save then buy in bulk, that is how I have been doing it, and remember, we military people don't get paid much

College really would not of been a prob if my Dad wouldnt of cut my college money by alot (he is trying to make me work for what I get) which isnt really a problem but you know being spoiled sometimes kill my better judgement but im getting better...Im already starting to feel the tire of life

Man, if you can afford 1-2DVD's a week, you can certainly afford college if you just cut your DVD spending in half. Look at someone like me - I'm like yuppa... I'm so broke I can only afford to sniff the DVD covers on store shelves!.. I only buy them very, very selectively on rare occasions.

I'd say be more selective about your DVD purchases and you'll be fine.
