Just found out about this little event.. they appearently show lots of anime. I hear from my friend Neph that last time they showed "Tetsujin The Iron Man" and (I kid you not...) "Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter"

Quality stuff, I tell ya.

Wow, they're also showing Miike's Ichi the Killer. Awesome.

Enjoy Nausicaa, it's truely one of the great anime films.

Nausicaa is excellent and I would love to see it on a big screen.

Oh my god, Ichi the Killer was SOOO FUCKED UP! I reccomend it to anyone who enhoys those violent japanese gory films.. think battle royale, but with more senseless killing and no redeeming value other than the gore

If you dug that, check out Miike's Dead or Alive and City of Lost Souls. Then check out Hapiness of the Katakuris. I rented his Birdpeople of China and plan on watching it over the weekend.
