Slayers Movies and OVAs...

Is there anyone else out there that is annoyed as heck with ADV? I mean they got the rights to release these over here and they haven't translated any for like 3 or 4 years. They haven't done anything with it since the year they got ahold of it where they released 1 of the 4 movies and 3 of the what 6 OVAs? To top it off now I could swear they're taunting me. They released the soundtrack for Slayers: Return over here when they haven't even released that movie and as far as I know they haven't started working on it.

I hadn't really noticed since I watched a good many of them in fansub form years ago. I believe ADV owns the OVA and movie rights so you could put in a complaint to them.

I emailed Software Scultpures over the Slayers Premium 'movie' a few months back. It has the tv series characters in it and even a very brief cameo by Naga. It's only 30 minutes long....

I asked if they were planning on getting the rights to it since they dubbed the series voices....I got a maybe....

Well after doing those terrible dubs unlike software sculptors. Adv may not have sold enough tapes to justify doing more. Also Adv Has aquired a bunch of new stuff and I would imagine concentrating it's time on them.

That could be true, but they did have subtitles versions. The went through the trouble of rereleasing them on DVD along with many of their other titles. And there is still the soundtrack that they for some reason decided to release. Unless they just did that cause they are going to release Slayers Return soon, I just see that as them rubbing in our face that they still have the rights to the movies and OVAS but aren't releasing them.
