Adult Swim in their letterboards announced that Cowboy Bebop was coming up next.

Not an exact quote but close. Looks like they are pushing the word on other titles. I feel this is a good thing and helps push interest in anime.

Really? I didn't see that. Thats cool though. I just hope Cartoon Network dosn't get the rights to FLCL.

Knowing cartoon network they would edit it anyway. Plus do you really want to see cartoon network having FLCL? Also how many little kids do you see understanding it? The only way that it would be good if CN had it is if they replaced bebop with it. I love cowboy bebop and everything, but the more cartoon network shows it, the more I feel like bebop dies. I wish they would take bebop off the air for a while so that it won't become overplayed like dragon ball shit.

Well too many people like CB. So they might take it off for like a month. I coulda sworn they did that. Anyway as for FLCL, if they put it on Adult Swim then mebbe it won't get as chopped up. I personally have only seen like the first 2 1/2 eps so I don't know how bad it is. FLCL would go over the heads of many n00bs and younger children, so I doubt it will be on Toonami.

I realize that anime on CN is seen as a bad thing to some Otaku. I guess in a way it is. There are a lot of people who like "anime," but have only seen like the Gundams, DBZ and Bebop. Though anime is slowly going mainstream, I doubt that it will really reach much more of a popularity then it is now. That and the fact that CN is FORCED to edit their anime. I say forced b/c it is the fault of the FCC.

That is ture, but cartoon network lables the late night shows at adult. Thus Adult Swim. So I think the fact that they give warnings means they shouldn't have to edit the animes on that block at all. Oh well...

Thats true. It is meant for adults 18+, but most of the shows are either PG or TV-14.

I dont see CN editing much of FLCL as there is not much bad language or any nudity. But FLCL would be a short term thing as its only 6 episodes. Not enough to make a regular series out of.
