What the hell is Guu?

I've been watching Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu lately, and I have but one question.
*ahem*

WHAT THE BLOODY HELL IS GUU?

I heard that she is like, a mischief god, or a force of nature or something. And she has at least 3 forms, the cute little girl, the sullen, surly, cynical, sarcastic crafty girl, and the tall, long haired, beautiful woman (which i think is her "true" form, but I could be wrong) and in this last form, she seems kind, and concerned about Hale's well-being (she kills the bear, then see's Hale is ok, and smiles)

But I don't know what she is!! Does it ever get revealed in the series, or in like an OAV or something? Can someone at least tell me, because I don't want to have to wait, and I can't find any pertinent information on the series itself, beyond the obvious stuff.

I have heard the same thing about Guu: that she is the God of Mischief. Neither the show nor the OVA reveal what she is. After I was done watching the series, I was left with a lot of unanswered questions. Then, I discovered Hale Nochi Guu: Deluxe. This OVA answered SOME of the questions that the t.v. series left for me, but it still didn't answer EVERYTHING. I really wanted to see more of the relationship between Hale and Mari. I wanted to see what would happen.

The best answer is that Guu is Guu. Why does it have to be anything? I mean yes I'm curious but after I saw just how powerful she was I gave up. Maybe Guu is a god.

What is Guu? Honestly, this question doesn't need answering. Guu is Guu. It's one of those things that doesn't and shouldn't be thought about. There's really no other way to describe her besides... Guu.
Personally I'm thinking she's nothing more than Hale's imagination. I don't think a god though.
Another theory is that she cannot be explained because as soon as she has been explained, she has already countered that explanation.
I think to call her a god, is a little to breif and cheap.
Or you could just let the whole thing go over your head and enjoy the show for what it is, awesome.
