Kenshin Director's Cut
I just saw it the other night. I liked it a lot, actually. Even though it wasn't all that different, some things really stick out in my mind. Like, the extra foreshadowing they did with Tomoe. Also, in the fight scene where Kenshin gets cut on his cheek, they took the music out.. It actually made the scene seem a lot more dramatic.
Overall, like I said, not much difference, but enough to make it worth it.
Anyone else out there seen it? What'd ya think?

I've been holding back from buying the ova's to wait for the Director's Cut, which I d/led on night and was like...WTF.....and liked it very much. I like how the eps just run right into each other. This is pretty much a movie at best.

Weird effect, huh? But boy, does it ever work well.Garylisk wrote: Also, in the fight scene where Kenshin gets cut on his cheek, they took the music out.. It actually made the scene seem a lot more dramatic.
I think that effect is used widely in X/1999 - that one is really freaky with it's virtually complete lack of music.
