ok i went to future shop becasue i saw that they had anime, but never got to see any canadien prices ... so i went there with a pen and a pad of paper ... and this is what i had come up with.

GotF - 49.99
Cowboy bebop - 45.99
Lain - 45.99
trigun - 45.99
ranma 1/2 - 45.99
Akira - 37.99
- 62.99 (special eddition)
Hellsing - 43.99
Eva D&R - 29.99 (this is actualy a good price)
CitS, sprited away, kiki's DS - 34.99
Robotech Macross - 15.99 (i guess this is a good price, don't know if it;s a good show though)

but any ways these prices are just for single DVD's i didn't see any box sets ... maybe they'd have better prices on the box sets, but the single's arepretty danm expenseve.

... yeah that is a rip-off, Hell, you can buy all of Lain down here for about $70.
Umm check your prices... I've always used this thingy, of course it's useless if you're in a store.
Uhh, what's the difference between the Akira Special Edittion and the other one?

OMG a currency converter .. why didn';t i think of that ...
*smacks forehead*

all of lain for $70? as in the box set ... omg ... i thought that was about $120 ... if it cost that much in canada i'd jump on it ... but it dosn't .. when i find it it'll be like ... 180, if i'm lucky, i'll problaby have to pay about 200 and some change for the lain box set ... that is if i go through retail. which i problaby will.

Yep, Canadian prices are darn steep on these items. I got Spriggan and X DVD's for 35 (can) each recently, and that's considered a pretty good buy....
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

<sigh>

i feel your pain, most of the prices are terrible ... Eva Boxset, your first born child. Cowboy bebob Boxset, your thumbs. Kenshin Boxset, Re-mortgage your house. Single DVDs ... you can go and make loans at a bank for those. Arg it sucks too because theres only one place i can go that has a half decent selection ... at least it's not that far.

Wow... your right, they are a rip off... sometimes. Future Shop dose have fairly high prices, but they also put out good deals everyday. Like right now they have Hellsing DVDs for 29.99 CND, Akira for 24.99 CND, and EoEvangelion for 25.99 CND. They even have Princess Mononoke for 20.99, reg 23.99 CND, Ied say thats pretty good... X is only 29.99 CND. I got Escaflowne the Movie for $30 CND when the reg was $45, that was $15 I saved, yay for me! A&B Sound (if you've heard of it) sells even cheaper sometimes... they have Gundam Wing DVDs for 20.00 CND, thats pretty nice... If you know where to shop in Canada you can find then cheap!!

Beguiling

Near Bathurst Subway station (a block or two southwest of it).

Best prices in GTA for licenced domestic anime. (to my knowledge)

Thank you.
