Most Excessive Use of Ki in an attack

Post by Daio Kaji » Sat Apr 12, 2003 1:04 am

-inspired by 'The coolest Chi (Ki) attack ever animeated' topic-

what's the most excessive use of ki ( or chi or chakra or chakara ) in an anime attack u've ever seen¿

since ki always triggers dbz in my mind, then i say when goku shoots his kamehameha at vegita's gallick gun and then powers up it even more to overpower vegita's attack

it's probably one of the most memorable scenes in the series and one of my favorites

also when gohan is fighting frieza on namek and frieza is in i forgot what form, i think it was frieza's final form (short smooth one that every1 is most familiar with usually) and gohan kinda goes berserk on frieza (i haven't seen it in a long long time so i think it was because gohan thought that frieza had killed goku) and gohan launches a huge barrage of attacks at frieza and the attack goes to such a high level that they turn red and the attack just kinda sits on frieza burning him alive but gohan just keeps pouring on the juice, i think this happens at each and every transformation of frieza while on namek...heh heh, that's around the time that i decided gohan was the coolest in the series
[/rant] :P

Akira's cosmic rebirth. :)

That one has got to be the coolest attack/explosion ever.

:| a chakra is an energy center and structure in the etheric body which channels, stores, and refines different energies. You've got a few major chakras (heart, center, third-eye, crown, pelvic (-_-; for lack of a better word) throat, and one on each hand and each foot I believe) and then tons of tiny secondary circuits as well throughout the different joints and such to control the flow of subtle energy within the body.

Thats your esoteric lesson for the day!

ehh.. second impact is the best explosion |:

most excessive use of ki in an attack, or most excessive use of ki attacks? hmm, well with out mentioning Dbz, the later choice brings love hina to mind ... where motoko bashes kietaro around about 4 or 5 times in every episode with her ki attacks.

But i'm not sure what the most powerful energy attack i've seen is ... since my memory of Dbz is quite foggy (i haven't watched any for about 3.5 years) I guess when goku countered vegitas gallet gun attack.

*eva spoiler*

But if you want to consider that 3rd in EoE an energy attack, where every one's AT feilds are lowered and every one got turned into LCL. i guess thats pertyt danm powerful since everything around the world got turned into LCL for a while (i think, not sure if shinji made every thing go back to normal or not ... foggy memory)

yes shinji did cause everything to go back to normal...no i will not explain why because as Propyro already said, " *eva spoiler* "
but sadly no, that was not an energy attack used in 3rd impact, i think 2nd impact qualifies though, not 1st since it was just a big rock hitting earth heh heh

i hear a lot about love hina but i've never seen it myself and i never would have guessed that they used ki in that series

at more the question of most excessive use of ki or ki attacks, i think they go hand in hand, the more ki attacks are used, the more ki u use

well to be more specific, by normal i meant that he'd made the decision to be seperate beings instead of one big pool of people as a single conscienceness

seperate=normal

I'm not sure what it is, but in Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, the guy in the group of human hunters, his name is Grove I think, he spawns this likeness of himself that is pure energy and it blows the bijesus out of all of the barberoi. From the looks of it, he scared off countless lycanthropes(were-animals), creepy lizard thingies, and...well....just a whole bunch of bad ass monsters.

Since other people have already mentioned DBZ, I won't feel bad putting my say in. A definite excessive use of chi (ki) in DBZ was during the Cell/Android Saga when Vegeta fired his Final Flash for the first time. True, the attack didn't kill Cell, but it would've taken out the entire planet if it didn't happen to skim the surface. If you can, check out the episode. I'm sure someone knows what I'm talking about.
Strength without the wisdom to harness it is as useless as a sail with a hole.

See, that's another thing I don't like about Dragon Ball Z. The attacks.

They claim the attacks get stronger/cooler/better over time, but the only thing that really improves is the way the cartoonists drew them.
I recall a certain episode wayyy back in the beginning where Vegeta blows up a whole planet without even breaking a sweat, or picollo blowing up the moon with a simple attack... then later in the series it suddenly becomes such a hard task that it takes 5 episodes just to charge up...

Dragon Ball Z is just one big plot hole.
