So what's your opinion about Dragon Ball Battle of the Gods?

There's a lot of discussion about this in my country since
the movie was premiered in cinemas (Not very common here).
Most people dislikes it, but I really loved it. What are your opinions
about it? I would like to know different points of view around the world.

don't really have an opinion on it, there have been over a dozen dragon ball movies, they all usually involve some new villain appearing and lots of fights occurring, giving the opportunity for plenty of eye candy.

most long running, popular anime series get movies made of them, I just don't usually consider them canon material, although there have been exceptions, such as when the author of the series helps write the script of the movie.

Now, that's a good point and it's what I say to all haters
of the movie; "If you know Dragon Ball is like that, and you
don't like it, why are you watching the movie?" I enjoyed it
and the villian was very interesting

Dragon Ball is not part of my childhood, therefore I'm not interested in it :3

I recently watched a few days ago and i thought it was pretty good. I was happy to see the Z crew again and the new characters and I am very interested to see where it could go if Akira decides to go off from where the movie ends. I was expecting a little bit more fighting but that's is my only real complaint.
