See I am not going to go with picks based on hating the show. It's silly to get on fans just for liking something I don't. In fact one of my fan annoyances is a group, mostly for their behavior at cons and online and the other is a show/manga I don't mind at all but think the fanboys are absolutely mindless.

First, I have to go with some of the hardcore yaoi fangirls. I am not talking those who enjoy things like Fake and Gravitation or Yami no Matsui. No, I am talking about the ones who go around and seem to want every male character in any series boinking one another and then often have the audacity to say it's 'virtually canon'. Were they watching the same Trigun, Gundam Wing, Ouran Host Club, Fruits Basket, Naruto etc etc that I watched? The same people bash virtually every female in thse shows as well mainly on the basis that it gets in the way of their hot mansex. Then simply on the basis of being female they all assume that I am into it. Uh, no.... The worst part in this is that it makes the girls who are into the shows and are sane look bad. I know of a few yaoi fans who want to smack the fangirls. And heck I will admit that Yami no Matsui is actually a halfway decent show mostly thanks to them being sane on how they present it and I gave it a chance. I'll take them over the "OMG bishi on bishie up the ass!!!! *squee*"

Naruto fanboys are pretty high up there. Seriously... it's impossible to go to an anime forum and not have a bunch of rampant 12 year olds going 'Sasukay is teh gay' or making the same old joke over and over about the Believe it line. They overanalyze things (it's a shonen jump series and thus is not exactly deep) which inevitably results in a flamewar. It's great hearing with the editing on TV how it is wrong since it is not a kids' show when in actuality, Naruto is pretty much marketed with middle school boys as the primary audience, again this is Shonen Jump based. I don't hate the show when it is not on filler and I keep up on the manga by reading the last few chapters every month or so, but it is not the best show ever created nor is it worth dealing with the fanboys who just cannot shut up about it. Believe That.

Nope. Not exactly.

See, in DBZ I care about the characters nor does one of them have an annoying catch phrase that they say every 8 seconds.

Don't they have to mention power levels every few seconds? like every five seconds.. I think maybe naruto repeats something over and over.. but the other characters.. not so much.. and it actually has story instead ten episodes of one guy powering up and then finally fighting for 10 minutes. BELIEVE IT!

Powerlevels were only used in the Saiyan-Freiza arc. That's it really. Wasn't used in Dragonball, nor after. Maybe about 20% of the entire story all together. That's not much.

You are talking about dragonball z originally I wasn't even meaning original DB or GT at all.. DB had a lot better story, GT just plan sucked, Z just had good action here and there with a lousy story. The only thing I can say about DBZ is that it had the best aerial fighting of all time which was the only thing that got me into it, and when there was no action it was terribly boring and not funny.. The episodes of Naruto when nothing was going on at least it was witty, funny and entertaining.. unlike DBZ.

And besides, if we're originally going by how it was made, the manga "Dragonball" was all of DB anime and all of DBZ. Heh, so technically they could be described as one whole thing.

But yes, there is no denying that GT is and always has been stupid.
