Would you believe Grave of the Fireflies didn't make me cry? IT was really just so sad a story that I was taken out of the experience.OmniStrata wrote:I've heard, and read, that if you don't cry after watching Grave of the Fireflies, you're a heartless bastard who doesn't deserve the love of another...![]()

My not crying was for a different reason, I was just drawn out of the story.Kagura Hime wrote:i didnt cry either... its was too depressing i just felt numb....Malificus wrote:Would you believe Grave of the Fireflies didn't make me cry? well, i think that crying at an anime i to be expected. i have. and i think that both dude's are right. laughter and exsitement are easer to provoke. but would u laugh at a char or get exsited for a char if he/she didn't have some sort of conection to u. or some kind of impact on you in your anime viewing... days.?... i know i've laughed, cheered, jumped, screamed, and yes, even cryed. no these arn't emotions that can an anime can have on you right off the bat, but if u love the show, and the chars, i think a display of emotion is not only expected, but suiting.
