Sailor Moon of course..I remember every morning sitting with a bowl of cereal and watching it....My parents didn't like it but i loved it...I was around six or seven....haven't watched it in about 8 years....still my favorite.....just last year i went to LA on a trip for school and i went into this shop with these old toys like from the 60's and they had anime stuff in there too...well I was with the prez of the school's Anime club and he really liked Sailor Moon so he bought a plushie of sailor Moon and i spent all the money I had on a Sailor Moon 'Adventure Doll'....She holds a place of honor in my room...

It was actually made by a Japanese company for an American audience. I think a Jap version was made afterwards, but I'm not sure about that.*inverse* wrote: Really? (No wonder I love it so much) I thought it was produced by an American company...(Alliance/FHE etc) There is a lot of Japanese names in the credits though - mainly associated with the animation. Do you know if there is a Japanese version available somewhere?

Ditto!Jonny Bebop wrote:Guyver was the first anime that really started me off when I was eight, there were lots of cartoons I used to watch when I was younger but I don't really count them seeing as I didn't know what they were at the time.
Thundercats was an anime!?Hmm, about 15 years as well. 3 or 4 when I saw Astroboy, Silverhawks, Thundercats and the like. 21 now and still a fan. Hmm, that makes, 17-18 years.
