*sigh* You guys aren't taking this seriously, right? Even if the petition wasn't a joke it's not like the creator could do anything with it. It's an online petition from a site that specializes in online cookie-cutter petitions. Nobody with any real power to "ban anime" (if banning it wasn't unconstitutional in the first place) would take it seriously no matter how well-written it was or how many thousands of signatures it has.

And why even both ragging on the creator's stupidity? This kind of idiocy is nothing we haven't seen before--until it can actually affect us in some tangible manner I see no reason to get worked up over it.

Now to the topic at hand.

This is just damn pathetic! Why aren't these same Christian vermin attacking the American Pie movies, Robocop, and toy manufacturers that sell action figures from "T3" or "Aliens"?

We have the right to watch, read, and listen to whatever the hell we want, so long as we take responsibility for our own actions! Trident, this is what you have to get across to your fellow Christians. This is what America is all about.

We as Americans have rights. But these rights come with a price: we must each take responsibility for our own actions. We can't plead insanity, say we had a "bad childhood", or blame someone else for our own unethical behavior. When someone screws us over, we hold them accountable. But those same vermin (Christians) who are so willing to dish out punishment when someone screws up, try to put the blame on someone or something else when they screw up.

Morality is not the issue here. The issue is a special interest group trying to deny us our Constitutional rights, while using this ban of "immoral animation" to gain support from the incompetent. This is why democrats go for the minority voters every single time. With radical religious leaders like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton being paid under the table, the liberal pussies can get a majority of idiots to get them into office long enough to screw us all over.

Isn't tolerance fun?
