Adult Swim Trigun Reactions

well whatever they do to work around it, it will butcher the series and render it CRAP just like the rest of their shows so I know they'll do it. Hell they'll change the ending to knives winning or something. In fact, they'll have to since vash saves himself by using wolfwoods gun.

If CN continues in it's inconsistencies in editing, the cross/gun/bazooka will be left in. When they showed Evangelion (during toonami mind you, not even Adult Swim), the Angel exploded and the cross was left in. This is Adult Swim (supposed to be for 18+, yeah right!) so I'd imagine they'd leave it in. It'd also take a ridiculous amount of editing and digitally replacing to get rid of them all. Then again, they cease to amaze me with their stupidity since the edits in Kenshin are just like that...ridiculous (to the point where a child would know something is wrong).

I was more thinking of Wolfwood using a crucifix to hide deadly weapons. Some people may start bitching about that, saying that CN supports concealed weapons or something (a hidden cyber-arm is one thing, that's not possible in real life, but a cross that conceals handguns and such is.)

Child: "Mommy, I don't wanna go to church! What if Father Jones takes that cross on the back wall and shoots everyone!"

Mother: "Where would you ever get the idea that a cross can be used as a gun?"

Child: "Cartoon Network. This guy has a big cross and he has a bunch of guns hidden inside it."

I can see someone doing that. Some people will do anything. Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers.

Well we'll find out in...about a week or two? I know Wolfwood comes out in episode 9 or 10 (or something), but he doesn't use the cross till later right?

You're right about the stupid people comment though....(groan)

Yeah, it's later I believe, during the shootout contest. I remember the first time I saw him yank those leather cords off and he whipped out the handguns stashed in the sidebars. Good times.

Well my statement is from the warning at the beginning of Adult Swim where it says something along the lines of: "Parents are cautioned the show is for adults over the age of 18...blah blah blah."

Also, as for Eva, that was shown on Toonami which is the "kids" section (during the daytime).

They should broadcast EoE uncut as a Saturday Morning Special just to watch the hate mail flow in.

I don't think I'd worried about the hatemail. I'd worry about the children after they grow-up. I one time dared my friend to show his little siste r(like 7 years old) EoE and he was like "HELL NO, you want her to end up a serial killer!"
