Thundercats was animated in japan for a US audience. In other words, it was never Japanese-language. Whether or not it's anime sorta depends on who you ask.
Als Gregor Samsa eines Morgens aus unruhigen Träumen erwachte, fand er sich in seinem Bett zu einem ungeheueren Ungeziefer verwandelt.

The series concept was developed by a man whose name was "Ted" I believe. If you're counting something as a Japanese anime merely because it was animated in Japan, then dozens of American animated programs are in fact Japanese anime. You sure you want to stick with that?

And likewise, many Japanese animations would in fact be Korean animations or Chinese animations since many of them are animated by Korean groups.

So what's your choice? Who makes the concept? Or who animated it?

The first time I watched anime was when I was 5. I didn't realise it though. I used to watch transformers, however I haven't seen it since then and don't really remember any of it. Even if Thunder cas isn't an anime it used to be 1 of my fave cartoons

oh man.. here we go 8)

originally I watched speed racer when I was really young, but that dosent count.

Now, it all started way back at the tender age of 4. My cousins bought an SNES and I became hooked on it. My video game obsession grew and build up into one big orgasm at the age of 11, august of 1998, when I read the very first 'Pokemon Power' insert at the back of my monthly nintendo power magazine. I said to myself 'hey, this looks like Earthbound' and got pokemon for my birthday. Eventually I watched the TV show and it went from there. BUT, thats not the end of the story. One march day I was talking to my friend who was telling me about this show on cartoon network where the guy goes 'thundercats thundercats thundercats HOOOOOOOO' (emphasis on the ho part) which we thought was funny because it was 6th grade :/ so i flipped to the TV guide after school and saw before thundercats 'Sailor Moon' somehow, by some fateful paradox, I said to myself 'hey thats another one of those japanese cartoons like pokemon' dont ask how i knew that but anyway, I watched it, and kept watching it for several years, i concequently watched DBZ, and every other anime that came on toonami. Then dvd's became popular and I got a paper route and it all came together. :o

4 years went by and thats the whole story folks

now heres a question; how'd u get into AMV's?? :]
but we'll save that for another thread
NMEAMV: PENIS
NMEAMV: IN
NMEAMV: YO
NMEAMV: MIXED
NMEAMV: DRINK
