How much FLCL have you seen ... that will be a good indication as to why you don't understand why thats going on. By ep 6 it should be perfectly clear.

If you're on your second run-through of the series, that is.

I'm serious. There's a lot that most people simply won't get the first time they see FLCL, but it'll make more sense the second (or even third) time around. No, I'm not saying that this is a bad thing.

yea but it's pretty obvious by ep 6, i even got it the first time ... i think

Its apparent that Naota is not actually the key to atemisk's transformation through kanti. During episode 5 you see that even when Naota (the red bullet/ball thingy) has been shot and stuck to the sign, kanti (atemisk at this point) is still acting the same way as if Naota was in him... So i dont know what to think but thats what i figure

I really wish they went more into this in the manga. But did they explain much of <i>anything</i> about Atomsk or the Terminal Core or anything like that?... NO. They go even <i>less</i> into it than the animé does.
