ya kinda have to remember that kaworu was the only perosn that shinji ever truly loved and felt comfortable with. he was the only person that shinji didnt hate. also, shinji and kawru are the absolutely cutest couple in existance. and here's some too overcute proof

One more thing, isn't Sex just a smaller scale form or the Third Impact? It's a union of two people in a smaller way... kind of like the union that Shinji & Rei indulged in to see an "example of human completion"

Maybe if there where like five other people in there, like say if all of the Evangelion cast had their hands going through each other, but this was just 2 people here.
