there's no such thing as 'too serious about anime'
some keep me on the edge on my seat no matter how many times i watch ti, but maybe i'm just easily amused..
anime's great and my highest compliments to the makes of the wonderful movies that are able to pull out such emotions from us.

I haven't found myself crying over any type of fictional media these days, but the impact still hits me the same way. I tend to soak it all in and then just say out loud, 'whoa'. The times I remember having that feeling was after Grave of the Fireflies (second time I watched it actually), and at the end of the first season of Rayearth.
Probably too busy to be here right now.

I'm not trying to be manly here or anything but I haven't cried to any anime yet. I got a bit misty eyed for a few though. Saber Marionette J, and Saikano come to mind. Thats right, i didn't cry during Saikano, the little heart that I have is black and uncaring. I've been putting off GotF because I keep hearing it's so sad.

Thats the exact part I'm talking about. So sadCorran Productions wrote:Ahh Saikano...Episode nine was the first time I teared up watching an anime.

Closest I came to tearing up during an anime.
