Well i wouldnt say he would lose if he hadnt been burned.

Most likely the fight would not of ocured, if he wasnt attacked shishio wouldnt want to gain revenge against kyoto, right? So he wouldnt of even of started a war against kyoto, most likely imo he would of just become an hired assasin.

Now if he still did want to fight against kyoto and had the fight with kenshin. Dont forget, Shishio is the succesor of the manslayer in shadows. He would most likely be good, or even better seeing as how he wouldnt have a reverse blade sword and he was sitting around for 10 years, he was still killing :)

------------------------------

About the whole shishio knowing Sojiros moves, is somewhat true and somewhat not. Sojiro dosent have any real "moves" that he showed use besides his version of the batoujitsu which slays instantly. Tenken isnt really a move its just incredible ability to use a sword and suchi-chee(sp) is a technique but also highly unpredictible especially with sojiros lack of emotions. Even though this fight is near or impossible to ever happen based on the relationship of the 2, i cant see sojiro ever turning on shishio for any reason. His thoughts are always carefree and shishio cant really disrupt that like kesnhin did. However like stated previously if it DID occur then sojiro would most likely lose some of his ability to keep his feelings under control do to well the fact hes fighting the person who practicly raised him.

so hypotheticly, if the fight occured id say it could go either way (but im still rooting for sojiro :D)

Also, about the glory of love video, i have seen esca either and i still think it was a great video, it wasnt spoilerish, adleast i dont think so, but it did make me want to buy esca :D

The point here was not that his abilities were a double-edged sword (which is true). The point was that if the fight continued even one more blow (i.e. Shishio didn't burn-up and maintained that level of power), Kenshin would be a mark on the wall. It's quite apparent that Shishio at his max >>> Kenshin at his. That's all that was stated.

The only reason Kenshin won is because being at the level of power for so long caused Shishio to burn up and not because Kenshin is stronger. That is what I've been arguing against. Kenshin is hardly the strongest character in his own show. This also coincides with the meaning of the Kyoto arc in that the strongest person is not always the right person...it all works out if you think about it.
