I don't like Matt Greenfield...uh but what "The Pulse" was this? I know FOX 53 had a The Pulse news show once, and there are countless newspaper style things with that name...

Just the special effects, which Weta I trust dispite their grammatical differences. However..it the writers of the script I'd be worried about and choice of cast.

I will restate my opinion about Live Action Anime

The closest Anime should ever come to live action is the stuff they have on Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children or the FF movie...

I'm looking forward to the FF7 movie more so than a live action EVA because the FF7 one might make sense. EVA has already two movies and they pretty much end the series.

What's that got to do with it? It's already been said that the movie isn't going to be a sequel or a prequel.

What did he do?

The things he says don't seem to jive at all with Evangelion the series. He claims all these themes about Religion, which obviously isn't the point. I probably wouldn't care at all except that he's the boss, I'd preffer if he had a view of Evangelion that fit more.
