I don't know if I'd call it a sequal or not, but if they continued the Battle Angel OVA or the Nausicaa movie to the whole lenth of the manga, it would be awesome.

And make a lot more sense.
The sword, it thirsts to drink of man,
The sword at last must win,
Today is gone, and yesterday,
Must echo in the wind.

Hell-fucking-yeah!

I want to see an Akira remake, one that's faithful to the manga. Hey, if it worked for Oh My Goddess, it might work in a couple of decades.
Probably too busy to be here right now.

As much as I love Cowboy Bebop I just dont think you could ever make a sequel that would live up to the series. The ending (although it leaves you wanting for more and believe me I would love to have seen more) does have that sense of mystery that it leaves you with. Keeps you wondering about the other characters.

I wish they would make a sequel to (continue with) Yami no Matsuei. There is just SO MUCH more to the story than the anime shows. The artwork, soundtrack and story that continues on after the anime would be well worth the investment.
