I dont know, i didnt really see the movie, i just saw some part where it showed her REALLY fucked up by some spider robot, then she got her Head Ripped Off.

The pity, its a classic, none should be so confused. In the dub they called it a tank, and after one of the most awesome and best-choreographed battles in my opinion, she pushed herself to the breaking point, shattering even her class A body.

after merging with project 2501, a sniper shot Motoko's head off, barely missing death by inches as Batou used his arm to defect the bullet. Being a cyborg her head was all that’s necessary to transfer into a new body
I highly suggest all who haven’t seen this to give it a try.

You really should see the movie, it's really worth it especially the visuals ^_^.
