Most of them are song titles, but some are really odd music references. Check out http://www.jazzmess.com/Propyro wrote:no, i don't thin they're all named after song titles, but they all have some thing to do with musicin one way or another.

The thing with copyrights is that you have to take them for every part of the world, and so in this case Bob Dylan probably does not own the copyright for "Knocking on Heaven's Door" in Asia, thus in Japan they can call it that. It's the same reason why Biohazard is Resident Evil in North America; someone else [a metal band in this case] owns the North American rights to the name "Biohazard" while Capcom owns them in Asia.

i see, copyrights suck ...

still when i get my copy of the movie i'm taking out the cover and putting a peice of tape over "the movie" and writing in "knockin' on heavens door". But still, theres more episodes that share the names of huge classic rock songs. namely bohemian rhaspody and sympothy for the devil.

I thought it was very good and have seen it twice. Vincent makes a very good villain (kinda reminds me of vicious in a way) and the fights were pretty sweet. The start was pretty funny also. =). ``had some interesting views of faye
.`` all around~ excellent.
btw today I passed by a pet shop and almost had to stop myself from buying a welsh corgi dog. He looked so much like Ein

I was actually thinking the same thing, and I have no clue. Maybe the artists in question were approached by the distributor for permission and Dylan was the only one to decline. Or maybe they figured they could get away with it for the series because it wasn't hyped anywhere near as much as the movie. Flying under the radar as it were.Propyro wrote: still when i get my copy of the movie i'm taking out the cover and putting a peice of tape over "the movie" and writing in "knockin' on heavens door". Well, other than the name issue, I thought the movie was very well done.
THERE CAN NEVER BE ENOUGH OF BEBOP!!!!!
I do believe that Vicious was (still is) one of the best villians. Vincent was good but ..... there was just so much more mystery and tension between Spike and Vicious, I dont think that Vincent could get to that level. I wish they would have gone into the history of Spike/Vicious/Julia a bit more in the series and I think that would have been a great story to base a movie on. Ah, but I can only wish..........

"Light in the absence of eyes illuminates nothing. Visible forms are not inherent in the world but are granted by the act of seeing. Events contain no meaning in themselves only the meaning that the mind imposes on them...yet the world endures,...whether or not the mind exists..."
