Vocal and visual expressions both count.

Though it must be something that makes an anime character "unique".

The looks on the guys faces when Asuka is in their class. 0_0 Yes a visual expression...

I must say, the way Sonsaku Hakufu (Ikki Tousen - As Strong as a Thousand) blushes after she gets, uh, "frisked" is very cute. Her face turns red a lot and I noticed she has this weird "smirk" that makes her look catty... [nya!] ^_^
