Boot legs sellers are homersexual, evil, devil worshiping, Arab, rip off, annoying, stupid, pathetic, useless, fucked, shithole, lying sacks of shit that always claim they are the real product while secretly masturbating under the counter to child /animal porn cause they are sick fucks that deserve to die in the most painful and humiliating way.
The products I’ve seen are lacking in quality, they have the nerve to put logo’s on them aswell as completely botch the subbing. I don’t know Japanese all to well but I bloody sure ‘baka’ doesn’t mean “hello Mr. sailor’.
Buy the original product, although they might rip you off by putting 2 eps per disc at least your not supporting a child molester.

Its a local thing, Somewhere in the middle of Highschool we started calling each other strange names, one of which is a 'thieving arab'.
In due time when ever someone stole something you would call them an arab.
There aren't any Arabs around here so no one got offended or pulled us up so it became part of our standard slang.

Thanks to bootleggers (and fansubbers) us who're living in developing countries can afford to watch and collect quite a number of Anime. Thanks to them that I could make hi-kwality AMV

i'd thank fansubbers more then boot leggers. People who ahve fan subs at least know that it's not the legitimate thing becasue it's on their computer. Some people have bootleg DVD's and think that they are the real thing, which is quite dumb. But i was kind thinking about it an i saw a lot of people saying net munchers are just as bad as bootleggers... well i was kinda trying to think of how boot legs could be a step above net munching, but i was kinda having trouble doing it and gave up ... so yea they are ....

i can't belive no one is saying any thing about my "programming" at least mock it and acknoledge it's existance ... thats the work of a sleep depived mind hard at work there you know! I tried real hard to make it funny ... if you won't laugh with me at least laugh at me ...

Well the thing is, although fansubbing is *technically* illegal, it is not at all frowned upon by the very industry that could file legal action. In fact, they appreciate the free advertising so long as the "rules" are followed (i.e. fansub distro of a show stops immediately after it gets a domestic license). I might also add that fansubs are ALWAYS shows that are not available in the states (if they are they are NOT fansubs and are VERY illegal). That's how fansubbing has always been and it helps promote anime that is coming and more importantly most people who enjoy the fansub buy the domestic (that is the point of fansubs...for you to watch (thus showing popularity), getting a show license and then replacing).

As for bootlegs, they are in no way beneficial to the community and are VERY illegal. Plain and simple. I do somewhat sympathize with other countries where it is the only choice, but in the states, there is no excuse (not even the "I'm poor excuse." Need I remind you of my, go into the grocery store take some food and eat it b/c you can't afford it, analogy.

but yea, i can see how fan subs work ... although not very many people follow the rules ... eg, love hina, i don't know how long the series has been available in north america but theres still the whole fansubbed seires available on P2P networsk .. how do i know it's fan subbed? (and some what poorly too)
