Okay, this question comes from the motion picture Kurenai no Buta, aka Porco Rosso.

When Marco first meets Donald Curtis, he compliments the American on his aircraft moored outside, a Curtiss (no relation), as being the same plane that beat the Italians in the ____________ two years running.

THE QUESTION: What went in the above blank?

HINT: This was an actual event. And Yes, Curtiss planes won this event two years running -- only to be beaten the following year by the Italian entry, a Macchi M.39.

Hmm, the only other air race I can think of off the top of my head is the Schneider Cup Air Race, I think that's the name of it. So that's my other guess

And that would be the Correct Answer!! It was the Schneider Cup (or Schneider Trophy), an air race specifically for seaplanes, held yearly (WWI not withstanding) from 1913 to 1931.

So we all know NERV is located in Tokyo-3. But what city in real, modern-day Japan is Tokyo-3 located at/near?

And as a hint, there's a road sign in End of Eva that also has the name of the city on it.
