The end of Kenshin?

nah, it wasnt a plague, it was tubculosis, kenshin had been alive for quite a while, and the only plague of the time was black death, which killed within hours of being infected directly.

for quite some time but you don't get those bruising spots from tuberculosis yes it's an infection of the lungs which naturally causes the people infected to cough up blood but still No Spots

Also the black plague had a certain quick bruising of the skin and soring on the outside of the skin. Slight misconception about the black death you can last for about a week with the plague usual note of death was on the 5th day with the plague

black plague had an intense swelling under the armpits and other parts of the body, kenshin didnt look that bad, he was sick, but he wasnt swelling up like a balloon. i just looked it up, it was a combination of cholera and tuberculosis, caused by an unknown virus that was ravaging japan in the 1600's

cholera and tuberculosis sounds more reasonable...since the black death as Artzangel said on the 5th day the patient die...as far as the anime goes Kenshin have the disease for quite some time...

Well my take on the ending is that Reflections is one of the worst animes I've seen. It was a horrible way to end Kenshin and what made it worse was it was just a cheap attempt to try and give fans an ending b/c they were mad about the TV series and thought they could make more money. I'll take the TV series ending over Reflections anyday, but of course the manga is the way to go.
