I bought the DVD, and was very dissapointed with it. For some reason, the english dub volume was extremely low on the TV I was watching it on, and the only character I could really understand was the kid. I'm guessing that because of that, I really couldn't understand what was going on.
Maybe, someday, I'll watch the original Japanese and subtitles.

Thats odd that it was that way, it plays everything else just fine. Since my brother essentially bought the cheapest TV/VCR he could find (Emerson), I blamed it on the TV, and he did mention the TV handles inputs from external sources badly (example: Playing the Aliens DVD on that same TV/VCR and VCR/DVD combo, and you hear noise and see some noise (partially due to the fact that I didn't change the channel 3/4 output of the DVD player, so the local Ch4 was bleeding in)). That DVD/VCR was mine for quite some time, and I played all of my anime and movie DVD's on it, and then I upgraded to a nicer JVC DVD player (I like JVC, so I also own a JVC TV, JVC 5.1 channel speaker system, a JVC surround amp, a JVC car radio, and when I can afford it, a JVC DVD recorder)bum wrote:I'm betting thats your dvd player's problem.
