its not extremely terrible, but it wasnt worth the 10$ bucks i spent on it....maybe 5$ would be ok.....but youre right, it really did need to give better backstories on the charactersCloud Clone wrote:..Am I the only one who even kinda liked the anime? It would seem so...

Nah...He's such a rip-off it's incredibly funny! That's props to Bruce Lee for being remembered in an anime and videogame! He's so incredibly awesome, he's created an entire steryotype modeled after himself! Now that's true greatness...just what I shall have someday!Tsunami Jones wrote:Cloud Clone wrote:I wanted to know more about Marshal Law! The animated Bruce Lee! Wooo-ahhh!
He's such a rip off that it's not even funny.

No, i simply don't think it's funny at all. It's not even a parody (like episode 4 of Abenobashi Magical Shopping District). It's just plain lame. It wouldn't be as bad if they had a character that used Jeet Kun Do instead of actually being a direct rip off.Cloud Clone wrote:Nah...He's such a rip-off it's incredibly funny! Ah, there's a Bruce Lee rip off in most fighting games now. Tekken's definitely not the first...there was one in the Street Fighter games and I think the most recent ripoff is in Kakuto-Chojin fir the X Box. Even Spike uses Jeet Kun Do, so there's bound to be many, many Bruce Lee ripoffs from now 'til the end of forever...but there's even a Jackie Chan ripoff as Lei, but the only reason nobody's said anything is because people son't care about Jackie Chan nearly as much. So there!

There's a difference between directly ripping off someone and using their style, moves, etc. Like Spike. He uses Jeet Kun Do but definately isn't a rip-off of Bruce Lee. And Lei really isn't a "rip-off" of Jackie Chan per say, but more of just your general Hong Kong action hero. But yes, you're probably right, and Bruce Lee rip offs will be there forever. I for one would like to see one good fighting game actually shell out the money to have him in the game. That would be sweet.Cloud Clone wrote:Ah, there's a Bruce Lee rip off in most fighting games now.
