Megumi has nothing to cheer about as she has lost to Azalyn. Sure, both are cute, but Azalyn has a lot of character and personality, not to mention she's from Tylor... and I've already said how much I love that show. Azalyn gets the vote from me and also moves on to the next round.

This was the closest pair of all the pairs. My vote only counts in the case of breaking ties so I can't give Akane the win. I really liked Akane's aloof nature and her character was very interesting in Magic User's Club. I don't know anything about Uzuki, but she looks like the upbeat, perky member of the group from what I have seen... still ONE VOTE! JUST ONE VOTE... oh well... Uzuki goes on to the next round by just a whisper.

Well, it's game, set, and match for Tamaki this round. She was able to soundly defeat Iczer. For me, Iczer was one of the first anime titles I saw in Japanese (raw Japanese, mind you) and while I never liked it as much as my friend who introduced it to me, it's always had a fond place in my heart. Iczer is a pretty bad ass character... she even kills a house (no... I'm not joking). Sadly, Iczer will have to stay in my memory, for she's out of the running and Tamaki moves on to the next round.

Scarlet (Wedding Peach)

A crushing victory for Scarlet... she almost shut Kaori out completely (Kaori only got votes in the last few entries). I really know little about City Hunter, but I just won't vote for a Wedding Peach character... so my vote went to Kaori. Still, it is Scarlet who will move on to the next round.

The cutest member of the Pretty Four utterly slammed Mosha in this round. I like Nana, sure, but I always liked Mosha... she was a strong character (and she also happened to be strong, able to pick a fight with many of the obnoxious Gundam pilots!) However, she did end up with a boyfriend... but she won't be going on to the next round. It is Nana we will see in Round Two!

Yayoi takes a strong victory over Amy. This is another one of those pairs I wasn't that interested in. My vote on this pair is actually for a pretty dumb reason... I just happened to like the name "Yayoi". Yayoi moves on to the next round.

Cassandra slams Miki in the most one-sided pairing in this whole match! 16 to 1!! I voted for Cassandra because, as I mentioned before, I like the artwork from Rage of the Dragons. Cassandra will move on effortlessly into the next round.

Tima is unable to comprehend her loss to Nana. I put my vote in for Tima because not only do I like the Tima character from Metropolis, but I think that Nana's character design is really, really boring. Yawn. Still... it is Nana who will be moving on to the next round.

Remmy claims a strong victory over Nina Purpleton, but Nina isn't aware it happened as she is still compiling Gundam info. Nina, while being a good character, always kind of bothered me... and if you ever saw the Go-Shogun movie... I think you'd know why I would have voted for Remmy anyway. Remmy moves on to the next round.

Karna blows a fuse and begins to demand a recount at the announcement of her loss, but suddenly she freezes in place and starts giving out an order for a pizza... (CROSSED AGAIN!!). I mean, all you have to do is look at my icon for goodness sake... I obviously am going to vote for Karna... especially over a character from a video game. Alas, Karna has lost and Karina goes to the next round.
