Odd thing is, though, I've seen later covers, and her hair gets redder and redder I guess the anime influenced it, but her hair is blonde in many pictures.

Well, the manga did come out after the anime... and drrawn by the main charachter designer. I think her hair is still red.

I aint judging ... im just saying that if she was a blonde then she would be the center of blone jokes ... which actually sucks because not all blondes are like that ... 8)

From my personnal experience, a lot of female redheads Ive known are very strong willed... I'd think her whole personnality could change....

but then again, I cant really imagen a blonde Asuka acting the same way really in general... Her personnality in the Manga at first is a lot different anyway. Plus it'd lose the contradiction with Reis Blue colour...

Hitler's "Aryan" race idealized blond hair...but the funny thing is, my cousin married a German and he and all his relatives are redheads. Their kids (meaning, my cousin and her husband) all have red hair too. So redheads are actually pretty common in Germany. Schuldig from WK has the same orangey-red hair as Asuka. As for Rei...she was genetically engineered or something along those lines, wasn't she? The blue hair/red eyes just makes sense.

isnt she like a clone or something, so her hair is made thats why.And isnt in all animes people japanese?japanese only have like 1 hair color "black"!!!!so you should be asking that about all the animes...

I think its kindof cool though that Asuka has Red hair and Blue eyes.. and Rei has Blue Hair and Red eyes...
