My apologies for the confusion; I'll clarify my point. What I meant by that sentence was that, as well as having blue eyes, which often seems to be the mark of foreign blood, Mike (sort of) and Karen also have foreign names. It occurs to me now that as adoptees their names could have been changed and this point rendered moot, but from the conversation the three of them have near the start of the second episode this would seem like an unlikely case.

Man, I just watched the 6th episode.. It only tells me that the 7th episode will have the maybe.. Much needed information about who's who and how they may be related to one another... Gah.. I want episode 7!!

Maybe.. Just maybe they are all related and one of them did take the picture.. But remember, there is an upward slope where the kiddy pool is. Maybe one of them took the picture from the upper angle?
And does anyone think that maybe one of the parents was an alien as well? Maybe Mizuho doesn't realize it just yet.. Or does she..? (watch her expression near the end of episode 6) I don't know but I can't wait for the 7th episode..

As expected, though the 6th ep "dragged on a bit" compared to the other slap happy antics in previous eps...

Yasunori Ide ONCE AGAIN delivers a smashing directing perfomance with a SERIOUS character development stage with this ep...
