Check your local bookstore again. Fake 2 is out, so is Mars 11, Tokyo Mew Mew 2, Demon Diary 2 I saw, and Ceres 4 is out too. Fake 2 has the OVA as the first half of the manga. I just bought it a couple days ago.

You can order them at Barnes and Noble online. And the best place to buy manga is either at anime comic book stores, or at places like Waldenbooks (if you have them near you.) Avoid the Barnes and Noble stores, though, cuz they suck. The one by me keeps half the manga in one section, and the other half mixed in with the teenage book section. And they have a shitty enough selection as it is. Also, someitmes certain game stores, if they sell anime as well as games which a lot of them near me have started doing, will have a small selection of manga.

Let's see... right now I have Chobits 1-5 and Kare Kano 1-13. I bought Chobits 6-8 and KKNJ 15 from a friend, but it hasn't arrived yet. Once I get my credit card sorted out, I'm going to see if I can score Ultra Maniac 1-3 XD

Oh yeah, there's also a nice stack of phonebooks on my shelf (don't read them much, my Japanese skills are almost nonexistent).

Shadow Star (1-4 at present, very highly recommended indeed)
Marmalade Boy (only just started buying this)
Mars (likewise, but I've read to 7 or 8 and it's great)

I also have Japanese editions of the last volume of Kenshin and Inu Yasha no 26. I can't read Japanese, but the pictures are nice ^^

every time i try and buy manga, My wife pulls the giant hammer from behind her back and attempts to hit me over the head.

but being a sailor i do have the option to buy lots of untranslated manga in singapore. Maybe i'll do that just because I know i can't get hit unless its from a intercontial boomerange shoe.
