Oh, the 'coolest' new Anime I've seen is GetBackers. It reeks of kakkoii-ness. In the PS2 video game commercial they've got a Japanese girl holding a PS2 controller and saying 'kakoii!' :D (kakkoii approximately means 'cool' in Japanese)
