I dont know what it was called, but the basic premise was four (or was it five) little fairies living with a boy and all they did was being cute and sounding like babies and thinking the shoe was a boat and just being regular 'tards and it almost drove me to the brink of insanity... i was all like wtf?!

If you haven't seen GitS2 and expect an ending then don't go see it. There is no conclusion.EBwiz wrote:6. Almost anything done by Production IG. Ghost in the Shell was alright, and I am looking forward to GitS2 and Stand Alone Complex, but Kaidohmaru and Blood are just.... ... I'm sorry, but I prefer my stories to come to some kind of conclusion, or at least serve some kind of point. Blood and Kaidohmaru were a waste of time.

Hate. . .Kurumi. . .Hate. . .<foaming at mouth>.
Maybe the sub is better, but, GODDAMN, her dubbed voice is like 20 foot fingernails scraping across a very large blackboard, then condensed, put to rap, remixed and then played in my ear at high volume. I still shudder when I think of her dubbed voice. . .
The most expedient way to avert crisis is always by the indiscriminate extinction of anything that stands in your way.

It's much better than the US dub. The Dub sounds-no, I take that back, is-forced to sound that way, while the Japanese version sounds natural.

X2 Always try to listen to the actual personpicked for the part first. Think about it.. if you were watching an american movie dubbed into Japanese (as an example), and had to listen to some little guy doing the voice of James Earl Jones it would sound pretty funky.Zero Serenity wrote:Kurumi's Japanese voice: Heaven.Merm wrote:For the subject

My new favorite hate anime: The last episode of Berserk. Grr. That pissed me off so badly. While I doubt anything will ever replace the pain that is MD Geist, it still bites to think about it.

I honestly can't answer this question. I don't hate any anime, so to speak...there are just some that don't suit my tastes.
DBZ: Not my sort of animation style, and the fighting seems to overshadow anything else. That, and I can't stand how they stretch a 20 minute event to last an entire week's worth of episodes.
Card/Monster collecting series: These just seem too commercial to me, as if they're trying to put emphasis on a product. It's cute, but I feel like there's a Golduck between frames waving a watch.
Sailor Moon: See DBZ. Replace the word fighting with the phrase, "friendship can solve any problem".
Now, if you're going to come back at this post with an argument against my logic, please do so in a civil manner.[/u]
