Evangelion: Classic or Overrated?

ooh, and tomj, what other deleted scenes do you have. Also, does anyone try to insert them into the series, i know i do.....

yes, her entry plug was thrown out of the eva, but i suspect she died, thats why in the hospital she say's that she is the third...

oh yeah, just used my newly aquired deleted scenes in my new video, Lit Over my head with rei's eva being broken by the angel (deleted Scene) works so well, shame i cant present it, yet another reason for the golden donut

So you have the one that goes further into the Angel melding with Rei?

I have two additions to the Birth of Nerv episode (flashbacks to 2002 and 2003 with Fuyutsuki); a conversaton between Asuka and Kaji on board the ship with Unit 02; an extra scene with Asuka out in town spotting Shinji smiling (RUN!) and talking to Rei, during the episode after the primal-scream angel's damage to the NERV pyramid is being fixed; a long bout of self-flagellation by Asuka beginning with the dread phrase "kimochi warui"; an extended mind-rape by Sachiel (was it? the angel of music...); and what looks to be either an additional insert for ep 24, or is the extra scene made for the first DVD release in .jp, with Kaworu talking to Seele.

Which is odd, because I'd have sworn I had the additional-contact one involving Rei and the spaghetti angel somewhere...

Oh, they found her plug all right - but yes, she *had* gone up in flames.

Yes all of these were deleted. The one in Episode 24 (IMO) is the one I'd have liked in the US discs. I saw it and it was AWESOME.

well that sucks. I need to watch the series a few more times to understand. By the way would you mind explaining your emphasis on *had*?
