you're right, i got it backwards, the live action seems to blend the two. Saya's character seems to be more similar to the movie version (really cold) and some scenes like the attack on the train are fight out of the movie. However they included another female character who seems to be her main enemy and seems to be really similar to her sister in the series.

I saw a commercial trailer for this on TV at work the other day. Well, more like caught the end of it.
It made me WTF pretty noticably. For some reason I thought this movie was overseas.

Lol, that almost didn't make any sense. It has the same dialogue as the anime but with more additions. So if you liked the anime and thought it had a good dialogue you most likely will like this too and its dialogue. At least, that's my opinion though..
My only concerns with this are the cheesy fight scenes and how this could turn on like any other cheesy Japanese action movie. Hopefully, it won't.

Wow I just saw the trailer, and correct me if im wrong but did Blood: The last vampire really have that much sword play in it? Not to mention the samurai type people and chicks in white flying around??
Then again the person who made Crouching tiger is involved sooo~?
