Need New Anime...

Samurai champloo for one. Nice little samurai story, Kinda redundant story but I definately thought it was worth watching.

And then of course. Cowboy Bebop. i know it's prolly cliche to say this, but this is one of the best aniems I've ever seen. And I agree with the popular opinion that the English dub over is better then the japanese voices.

No one's mentioned Vision of Escaflowne? This is by far the finest fantasy anime series there is.

First of all, put Death Note at the top of your list. It is the best show ever made. It owns all things anime and non anime.
Second place I'd say would have to be Code Geass. It is almost as good as Death Note.

Now, as for anime that haven't been mentioned yet.

First is FLCL (pronounced Fooly Cooly or Furi Kuri)
This anime is only six episodes but is worth every minute. If I tried to explain this to you, you would probably doubt my sanity and believe the show to be stupid. So, I say this: watch it and don't ask questions.

For some incredible action and some of the most awesome characters in anime history, go for Hellsing Ultimate. Warning: When you watch this, make sure it is the recent version. Do not watch the old series that came on television. It was just terrible. The newer Hellsing Ultimate series of OVAs is what you are looking for.

Another excellent anime is Paranoia Agent. It is so wonderfully creepy that it will blow your mind.

If you want something with a little less action and more comedy, I recommend Azumanga Daioh. I cannot begin to describe how funny this is. I just can't.

Finally, I recommend Fullmetal Alchemist. This is the show that got me interested in anime. This show is a masterpiece that has worldwide recognition and an incredible plot. Do not pass this one up.

Ok I have also seen FLCL, Hellsing, Fullmetal Alchemist, Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop (Hate Julia Love Faye), Paranoia Agent, and I read about 12 kingdoms do not want to watch it

well as for creative AMV. Tainted donuts is prolly one of the most creative Cowboy bebop/Trigun amvs i've seen.

If that's not 'new' enough for ya, you'd better damn well go out and make your own anime...

You'll see classics like 'Sailor Moon', but that's of no consequence, the busiest threads that don't involve anything released here are the newest anime thus far.
