Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi sort of has scenes of Grandpa Masa in his early years when he is still chasing Mune-mune and they first meet Abeno Seimei (Eutus). Dunno if that helps. I'm wracking my brain because I think I've seen an anime somewhere where one of the characters is older near the end of the series but we see him younger again. :?

Are you looking for an entire anime series dedicated to the growth of one specific character from child to man?

I thought the main character in Otaku no Video did some time progression as far as age but he started off around 20 and eventually went to old age. The circumstances might be weird though.

I think Berserk does that. But it happens rather quickly.

Actually, that's a valid suggestion for what he was requesting. And without knowing exactly what kind of concept he's got planned, it's rather presumptuous to rule it out. I'm sure he can decide that for himself.

Well, the woman hardly does anything in her youth segment of the movie (what, she stayed young for about 10 minutes, and then at random parts, she appears to be young again) and then she's old. Unless he's planning on doing a vid mostly about a grandma, I think it's safe to rule it out. Less he's doing a multi-anime type vid and he can use the little of the youth in it.
