when Ninamori goes is sprouting that robot and the music went perfectly when shes kicking on Canti.

Not really, but I think that's because there haven't really been any OVAs better than FLCL.

You aren't gonna get a moment like that in a regular series - it's hard to have a single moment define 13 or 26 episodes, and forget about the glut of extra-long series that have come out since then...

Just think, in 50 years we'll be old, sitting in rocking chairs, and still reminiscing about Naota nailing that satellite

I am thinking that in 50 years, some of these series might be able to be shot live action and done properly with an affordable budget. I would love to see either an updated or live version of "Macross"... That series is ripe to be shown to a new generation.

damn Im so confused.... Ive only read the 2 mangas, and they were hilarious but that was a long time ago and I completely dont remember anything.

For anyone whos read the mangas my fav is the utterly random cats in every few frames (thats like the only part i remember... oh and I think one of the buildings had a gun but I could just be crazy... but if Im not then that was just damn funny)

I love every scene in that show.... but I don't know... the ones that I tell everyone (if anyone is over) or turn off all noise things... are

When Hybrid Rainbow stars playing and Canti starts gracefully flying
When Haruko and Naota are riding along the ocean and Naota starts narrating
When Naota is narrating at the school play scene
When Naota nails the satellite

and many more... don't feel like typing them all.. but you know... the scenes that are serious... almost dramatic or something like that... with all the chaos that FLCL is, when its serious it's even that much greater.
