With these in-depth reviews, I sometimes wonder if the reviewer is seeing more than the creator ever intended. But this will give me something to think about when I (hopefully) get to see it on a movie screen. Thanks for the link!

Spirited Away is now "the highest grossing anime film shown in America that is not named Pokemon".

With these in-depth reviews, I sometimes wonder if the reviewer is seeing more than the creator ever intended.

It's a Miyazaki flick. What was mentioned in those "in-depth" reviews probablly doesn't SCRATCH what the creator intended.

High school novel stuies are the exact same. You analyze book until you've extracted every little meaning and deatil. I found myself asking the teacher one time, "What if there is no meaning to this part? Maybe the author just felt it went with the story.". Boy did I get a little lecture about that comment.
