They've changed Excel's voice in the next (?) DVD anyway(it's either the third or the fourth volume) because the VA doing the dub blew out her voice and was told if she continued to be Excel she'd have permanenet vocal chord damage.

Talk about nuts.

Makes you wonder how they're gonna sound later...

Kotono probably had more time to recover between sessions.

Jessica Calvello fell victim to a stepped-up production schedule that [sarcasm] didn't allow for human frailties. [/sarcasm] Would it have killed them to stick to the schedcule as originally planned?

No, this can't be!! Jessica Calvello's vocal cords must be restored!!!! SHE'S THE BEST ANIME DUBBER EVER!!! No one else matches her enthusiasm and heartful voice acting!!! (in America I mean) Her voice is so COOL too!!!!

SAY IT ISN'T SO!!!!! We must pray for her voice to be rejuvinated!

Kotono Mitsuishi doesn't scream nearly as loud as Jessica Calvello also. And Kotono Mitsuishi has a lovely voice backed up from singing experience. Remember the Credits to Dragon-Half back in 1993? That was Kotono singing! Both the Dub and Sub Excel voices sound so COOL AND INSANE AND AWESOME, but I think Jessica Calvello did push herself very far. And even if she does have to leave, she'll be remembered and praised!

I find myself rewinding the DVD on almost everything that Excel says just to hear it in both launguages because both Kotono and Jessica SOUND SO COOL!!! AHHH, THEY ARE COOL!!!!!!
