I like the idea of coordinators better than newtypes because Genetic engineering may be reality in the future whereas humans are not going to "Evolve" by going in to space. Evolution is a crock of crap. And I'm not even religious. I could see a situation developing where those who couldn't afford Genetic enhancement would be jealous of those who could.

Actually, if NTs are that big a hang-up for you, that also leaves:

-Gundam: 08th MS Team
-Gundam 0080: War In the Pocket (The Alex may be designed for one, but they're never actually featured in the series)
-Gundam 0083: War In The Pocket
-Mobile Fighter G Gundam
and
-Turn A Gundam

Besides, much like Zero pointed out, SEED DOES have Newtypes (and, as we discussed in another thread, Coordinators aren't exactly much better anyways.)

As for whacking...no comment...if you're just in it for eye-candy, that's your choice, but hey...

My vote:
I'm sticking with Zeta Gundam on this...yeah, so it's an older Gundam title, I still find the story to be one of the best out there...

All due respect to Wing, but after trying to review it after seeing some of the other titles it just seemed a bit too...well...staged...

Never heard of turn A gundam I will have to find that. 08th team gundam is good until the end which sucks donkey ass. I love the scene where the zaku is trying to defend the zeon transport. And I'm not into it for the eyecandy I just made the comment that seed is a great breakthrough for Gundam in this regard appealing to more of Otakus core needs for a better tomorrow.

Its a shame they didn't do more with Katoki's designs.

I'm hoping that they at least make a spinoff series like they did with Destiny, or a Gundam Evolve OAV with the Katoki Wing at least (the Wing that looks like Wingzero custom for those who don't know what I'm talking about)
