(In response to two or three people who responded to me)
Okay, I guess I have a tendency to fly off the handle about various things. And I know that I can go off on tangents. I guess it's just that I don't live in a big city that my local Chapters sucks for manga. And like I said, the spines and covers on what they do have are bent to shit. I can't do much online ordering, because I have no credit cards. I know I can do in-store computer ordering from Chapters, they don't carry anything from Dark Horse's new line of manga (they carry those big friggin' Akira books, yet no Trigun or Hellsing), and they, for whatever reason, suck for delivering things that I order (good thing I keep my reciepts). I rely on a comic book shop with a fucked-up distributor. What do I mean by "fucked-up"? Here's an example: I'm on the "subscription list" for various manga titles. Tokyo Babylon Vol. 2 came in for me 2 weeks before the street date, yet they didn't recieve any copies of Trigun Maximum Vol. 1 at all until just last week (and they're still waiting on Hellsing Vol. 3).
I think I'll just stop bitching now, because I'm quite off-topic. I'll just leave you with this:
Being an anime/manga fan in Canada fucking sucks.

It gives the idiots in the world a perfect oppertunity to jump at it and say "Look! This stuff is EVIL!"Because, as I'm sure you've all realized, everytime something becomes popular with the world, there are people out there who have to make up something wrong with it.

Meh, those people should die.
Shitty sig... i should make another one >_<

You know, reading your situation, you had it much better than me with my town - eh, I had NO distributors there whatsoever. My solution had always been going to cons and blowing money on the good stuff there.
Of course now, I moved to Ottawa, and I'm betting there's no such problems here. At least there's a good list of retailers who are supposed to have it.
Anyway... maybe this thread needs a split...
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Anime's increasing popularity is like the weather. Unpredictable. Tommorow it could be the worst thing ever , then the next day its the best thing in the world. All I know is weather and anime have 1 big thing in common. WE NEED IT TO LIVE! Long live anime for ages to come.
P.S. I'd like to see more anime video games.
An mmorpg anime would be nice!

I would say that manga and anime have defnately hit the top of the intertanement at the moment. Hell it was only last year that the book store in my home town finly got mangas.(to bad they keep changeing were to find it in the store every two months.)

Only time I say no is if someone asks if I've had enough.
