Eva Vs. RahXephon. Paranoia sets in...

i think evangelion is better because it became original by its own idea .. but rahxephon does the " original idea " much better. Also, eva was the type of series that seemed to get better (well until the ending). That said, rahxephon seemed to get worst (until the 5th dvd came out). If *i* had to choose, i'd say rahxephon is better ... by a hair ... ha!

I have to vote for Eva just because I can't watch Rah without screaming "OMFG they SO ripped off Eva right there!" every 5 minutes...

It would be sort of like if A Bug's Life hit theaters 5 years after Antz, instead of 2 weeks.

They are both wierdo and pointless. If you want to see Eva done right watch Paralell trouble adventure Dual. Evangelion is more wackable than Raxapheon.

Look at it like this. RahXephon is Eva done right, but even then it's not exactly a good thing.

Admititly RahXephon is pretty much a remake of the ideas in Evangelion, so for it not to be better in animation quality and a bit less confussing is expected. But when Evangellion was first released it gained aclaim and a reputaion that was well deserved.

Yes, I think EVA and Rahxephon have lots off common points, but EVA came first.Lots of ideas used on RahXephon may come from EVA.
But, what matters?

Neon Genesis Evangleion is one of the best animes I've ever watched!

i liked them both, but i liked rahxephon some more cause it made more sense to me... and.. I liked the characters better in rahxephon..

but don't get me wrong, Eva still ROX!! 8)

I love how that, sense Eva and Rah are very similar, and that sense Eva came first, Rah is bad and eva is better....

so does that mean every anime that shares quality and plot is bad compaired to the first one? well i guess then, every new anime sucks ass, because they all had one at some point made before them that they are VERY similar to it.

Its called Genres, there arnt an infinite number of them. Not to mention that the whole idea of Eva isnt all that new of one, its just a new way of showing the idea is what made Eva what it is. And Rah did the same, it just happened to be after eva and not 3852389589 years after, but fairly soon after (well in my standards anyway). So that makes it a copy of it in peoples eyes somehow =/ whatever.
