Well... yet another very one-sided victory here. I didn't have much interest in this pair, I'll admit, but once again my vote was based on personality. I just felt that Susan had a stronger character than Kumi. However, it seems that Susan will have to report her loss when she goes on the air next time while Kumi will slide gracefully into the next round.

A much closer struggle here, but Blue Mary was able to pull out the victory. I had a very tough time calling this one, myself. Whenever I play one of the King of Fighter Games, I always go with Blue Mary. I like her style. I've never really seen Idol Defense Force: Hummingbird, but I kow Satsuki is the main character and she seems like a nice enough character. I have a feeling that if I knew her character better, I probably would have voted for her. However, it is Blue Mary who will move on to the next round.

Nanaka (Magic User's Club)

Nanaka soundly defeated Cathy Wild in this round. I don't see how I couldn't have voted for Nanaka in this match. I'm never that interested in female characters who are drawn with a bust that's larger than their frikkin' head... and Nanaka was one of my favorite characters in Magic User's Club. I am quite happy to see Nanaka moving from this round to the next.

Ihrie falls into another trap as Shinobu takes the round. Oddly enough, my voting on this round goes against my normal voting. I mean, I like Irhie and I own the series "Ruin Explorers" and I don't know Shinobu that well at all... but look at her! All the pix I have seen of Shinobu all scream attitude and I just dig her character design. I have to go with Shinobu, but we'll see if her attitude will be enough when she gets to the next round.

WOW! An 8 to 1 victory for Yuriko over Nagisa. While I like both characters, I also happen to like Yuriko a lot more than Nagisa... Yuriko is actually one of my vavorites from Cpt. Tylor and Cpt. Tylor is such a great series. Yuriko gets to move on to the next round.

Chris (Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket)

Ginko (Metal Fighter Miku)

Ginko, the hot-head of the Pretty Four loses out to Chris from Gundam:0080 in a close match. However, as much as I like Ginko, she never had a chance in my book. Chris is such a likable character in Gundam:0080 (my favorite Gundam title) and she's just got that "girl-next-door" look. Chris is a great character and I have to admit, she's the one I'm routing for in this whole contest. No matter how well she does, she has managed to take a spot in the next round.

Dominique (Cobra)

Momoko (Wedding Peach)

A crushing defeat for Dominique at the hands of the main character from Wedding Peach. As I mentioned before, I don't see me ever voting for a Wedding Peach character and so my vote went to Dominique... of course, I happen to like the Cobra series... so it wasn't just some knee-jerk reaction. However, Momoko lands a solid victory and moves forward to the next round.

Annie (Rage of the Dragons)

Rabby (Gall Force)

Another powerful victory, this time for Rage of the Dragon's Annie over Gall Force's Rabby. I have never played Rage of the Dragons, but I love the art in this game, and I think Annie's design is great (especially with those socks!) Annie moves on to the next round.

Well, Ichiko can announce her victory over Jill in this round. I had to vote for Jill, because I find her to be a strong, yet tragic character. However, tragedy seems to follow her, because it is Ichiko who goes on to the next round.

Eira (Ellcia)

Rasha (Ruin Explorers)

The thieving sorceress Rasha is able to swipe victory from Eira this round. Rasha is a great character and probably my favorite in Ruin Explorers. Eira just never had much personality as far as I was concerned. Rasha moves on to the next round.
